1988 Bayliner Cierra Sunbridge 2455, has OMC/Cobra setup, want to replace with Mercruiser engine and outdrive, v8-350
Bryan,
Thanks for your inquiry and the opportunity at earning your business. Much has changed with regards to repowering over the past 2 years. I’ve included a link below that will address the available options for you. Based on these new rules the majority of repowering customers today are either going with a new or remanufactured longblock or if a more complete engine is needed they go with one of the the CPO engines to avoid the Catalyst requirement. This is a little confusing with a lot of information to digest however Mercruiser does not offer the complete package any longer rather you piece together the 3 main pieces of the package; engine + transom + sterndrive. Using the links below you can review more details regarding these options. Let me know if you need any further technical information or help placing your order. In either case I will be glad to assist!
